Mike Towner has a 30-year history of developing entrepreneurial endeavors from inception to commercial and consumer application. Mike developed a unique patent for a salivary diagnostic DNA test for periodontal disease and commercialized the test for use in the dental community in the United States and South America and for use in research studies in India and the United Kingdom. The test was later developed for initial applicability to detect coronary heart disease through assessing the types of bacteria in atherosclerotic plaque.
Mike was responsible for all aspects of the business development from initial startup, including formation, branding, state registration, regulatory filings, and operation through state and federal acceptance and approval for insurance and Medicare payments. Mike was responsible for coordinating the marketing and overall development and operations, including overseeing the scientific testing in the laboratory at the University of Louisiana in New Orleans and coordinating the antibiotic and other treatment diagnoses in Chicago, Illinois.
In addition to the numerous other businesses Mike has pioneered and participated in creating, he has been involved in the introduction or passage of more than fifty laws in six different states and has worked with intelectual property licensing throughout the United States, including with Yoko Ono Lennon, Philippe Cousteau, Bruce Brown Films and Route 66. He has assisted nonprofit organizations develop unique funding channels, including Feeding America and EarthEcho International.
Mike has worked with numerous Departments of Transportation and Departments of Motor Vehicles in establishing new laws creating innovative programs regarding automobile registration and compliance and has lobbied and testified before numerous Legislative Committees in support of innovative changes to vehicle registration systems, including a presentation to Governor Jeb Bush and the Florida Cabinet for the creation of digital license plates in 2005.
Joseph Dawson has practiced law for over thirty-five years and is rated in the Top100 Trial Lawyers and AV peer rated for the highest level of professional excellence by Martindale-Hubbell. He has developed numerous commercial endeavors including night clubs and restaurants and founded a video marketing company to make it more accessible and affordable to business owners. He was responsible for registering and branding the company and continues to develop the company through unique content.
Joe’s digital marketing company has a diverse clientele and has provided successful marketing for professionals in the legal, medical, real estate and political arena, by creating content for use on television and social media outlets such as YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok. Joe’s background provides additional creative input for innovative marketing purposes.
He is personally involved in extensive marketing and management projects in four coastal states and has developed a unique online telehealth therapy service addressing the burgeoning mental health treatment market. Ahead of its time in a pre-covid environment, the groundbreaking services offered patients, in a HIPPA protected platform the opportunity to seek mental health and dependency counseling, either in a group or individual setting, to obtain mental health and therapy via video conferencing.
Alex Mecl started his professional career as a management consultant with Price Waterhouse in the early 1990’s and went on to establish The Content Agency, one of the industry’s most successful and well—recognized Asian licensing companies, with a focus on developing and managing intellectual property programs for the lifestyle industry.
Over the past two decades, Alex has been a driving force in the entertainment and tech industry, where he was responsible for a long list of brand, concept, and product launches. His strength has been developing and working in close strategic partnerships with most Fortune 500 companies in the U.S., the European Union, and Asia. He was the Strategic Global Advisor for WeChat, the world’s second largest social media platform and was in charge of developing and managing corporate partnerships outside of China.
Alex is a native speaker and trilingual in English, German, and Japanese and proficient in French. He is currently studying Chinese and has an elementary understanding of Mandarin. He earned his joint bachelor degrees in Economics and International Area Studies (Asia) with highest honors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was elected and awarded his prestigious and highly competitive Phi Beta Kappa lifetime membership.
Alex recently completed his MBA in Business at UCLA while managing worldwide licensing rights for Bruce Brown Films, LLC and developing an innovative social media technology marketing platform.
